Definition of Poetry

Wordsworth famously defined poetry as “a spontaneous overflow of strong emotions recollected in tranquility”.

I hereby arbitrarily redefine poetry as “spontanous words written while drinking whiskey, edited while drinking coffee.”

(Interestingly one does not have to write anything down to experience Wordsworth’s definition of poetry.)
