Internet Sabbatical

It’s time for my annual internet sabbatical. About once a year I take a month or two and don’t use the internet much at all (except to renew library books and a couple other practicalities).

I believe this is a great idea for everybody. It’s not about being super strict, I say if you need to check your email for some important message once a week,or whatever go for it. But it is about clearing some bush off the backwoods of your mind. Once you go a few weeks without facebook, netflix streaming, and a bunch of blogs . . . well, you find you miss it a lot less than you might have suspected. At least that has been my experience. Anyhow, I won’t be posting again here until sometime in October, see you then!
